I am now represented by The Front gallery in Montpelier VT. This is a unique collective gallery. Currently there are more than 20 members, each exhibiting in solo shows every other month along with group shows in the intervening months. About my work, Matt writes "Much of Jonathan’s work is imaginary, or remembered. He paints well-used objects, small toys, stuffed animals, people and places that he knows well. Though he makes figurative and landscape paintings, that imagery is usually motivated by other ideas he is working toward: humor, hope, or, with Covid, isolation and distance."
